Hristijan Nashulovski (2004), born in Prilep (Macedonia), lives and works in Ljubljana, where he studies fashion and textile design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering.
His interests lie in the fluid intersections of visual art, textiles, movement and performance, where he focuses on exploring the body in all its possible forms. He has so far worked as costume designer for three theatre productions and presented three solo collections. With his project Ruins, he became the youngest independent designer to exhibit at Skopje Fashion Weekend. In 2023 he exhibited his textile installation After All at the Marko Cepenkov Gallery (Prilep) as part of the group exhibition entitled Below Zero. He recently participated as a performer and costume designer in Cat Jugravu’s Trans(Myth) Me Baby One More Time at Kino Šiška. He also took part of the Echo Curve regional project, where he exhibited his Bloated Manifesto and premiered his performance piece Bloated at the SKUP No.1 Gallery in Novi Sad in October 2024. He also performed Post-Closet at the BIO28 Design Biennial in collaboration with Vincent Grange as part of the Dorothy’s Closet project at the ISIS Gallery in Ljubljana. This year he participated in the Red Dawn Festival and premiered the performance Neljudi (Inhumans), a co-production with Cirkulacija2.
