Program AIR Celeia deluje od leta 2005. Spodbuja razvoj in promocijo sodobnih umetniških in kuratorskih praks ter temelji na odprtem dialogu, izmenjavi in sodelovanju. Zasnovan je kot dvomesečna rezidenca, namenjena mednarodnim umetnikom in kuratorjem. Rezidenca nudi honorar, prostor in čas ter ostale strukturne pogoje za poglobljeno raziskavo, razvoj in realizacijo individualnih ali skupinskih projektov. Rezidente seznanja in povezuje z lokalnim in širšim umetniškim dogajanjem.
Rezidenti AIR Celeia imajo priložnost predstaviti svoje delo v razstaviščih Centra sodobnih umetnosti v obliki predavanja, diskusije, performansa ali razstave.
Izbor poteka na podlagi odprtega razpisa in povabila.

Namestitev

Rezidenčno stanovanje (80 m2) se nahaja v starem mestnem jedru Celja znotraj Umetniške četrti in v neposredni bližini Centra sodobnih umetnosti. Stanovanje je opremljeno, ima dostop do brezžične povezave in razpoložljivo parkirno mesto.

Miguel González Cabezas

Miguel González Cabezas (b. 1992 Alcalá de Henares (ES)) is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher. MA in Critical Studies from the Academy of Fine Arts of Vienna in 2018. His research and multidisciplinary art projects evolve around processes of social transformation, migration, power structures, and representation.

 

He exhibited in the Experimental Art Space of USAL (2019); The GRAND TOUR Show, Kvaka 22, Belgrade, Serbia and On Artistic / Research, Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, Austria (2017); Balkanization, Friday Exit, Vienna, Austria and Rundgang, Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, Austria (2016); Re-Fill, KH Messen, Alvik, Norway; We are not, House of Culture of Vigo, Spain, DIY, Göteborgs Konstmuseum, Gothenburg, Sweden (2015); Open Emergents, at the Adora Calvo Gallery in Salamanca (2014) and other solo and group exhibitions in Kuwait, Zamora, Weimar, Berlin and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

In 2015 he organized the I Young Art Conference in CyL at the Da2 in Salamanca and participated in the II Encuentro de Artistas en Red de Cacabelos, León.

He has completed a Module-Residency at UNIDEE, Pistoleto Foundation in Biela Italia (2017); He participated in an Erasmus + for young entrepreneurs in Åle Kommun, Sweden (2016) and artistic residencies in Art House Messen, Alvik, Norway and Konstepidemin, Gothenburg, Sweden (2014).

In collaboration with Mirjam Bromundt he has recently published in Wespennest magazine no. 171: “Back to the USSR” that analyzes the media discourse after the October revolution and the Movement of the Indignados in Spain. He has also published in the book “Border Thinking. Dissasembling Histories of Racialiced ​​Violence ”about the outsourcing of the southern border of Europe and the role of the Spanish State in this process, edited by Marina Gržinić and published by Sternberg Press in 2017.
