The photo book Alles ist gleich geblieben consists of black-and-white photographs from public photo booths by which the artist recorded the three years he spent in Berlin with his partner Špela. In the automatic imaging booths scattered throughout the city, they had their pictures taken during the three years regardless of mood, time or weather – usually on a Sunday and in various situations (walking, socialising, on the way to a party, visiting friends). The work is a visual record of the feelings they experienced while building a new life in a new environment, based on the photos they collected. After three years in a big city that is constantly changing, they decided to return to Celje, a city where friends have remained, but also boredom and air pollution – a city where time often seems to have stopped and where everything remains the same.
